One of our resellers, Creative Systems are specialists in innovative commercial interiors. In June 2022 they provided the South Australia Police (SAPOL) headquarters in Adelaide with 291 of our Buro Roma Mid Back chairs with seat sliders.
The South Australia Police Head Quarters is an energy efficient 5 Star Green Star rated office building, designed by GHD Woodhead Architects. The building is a 10-storey facility that includes a communal breakout area on each office floor that has been designed to align with modern workplace expectations. This integrated commercial interiors fit-out aims to increase workplace performance levels beyond the standard PCA A grade, while meeting SAPOL’s functional and performance requirements.
The design was tailored to emphasise leadership and support as the core functional activities, maximise flexibility and efficiency, and satisfy the specific security and cultural requirements necessary to meet required standards. The common areas are bright and spacious, featuring comfortable seating, full kitchen facilities, and stunning views of the eastern suburbs and Adelaide Hills.
The Buro Roma is a very comfortable 3 lever chair with supportive seat and back rests and a good range of adjustments, suitable for a wide range of users. A very good all-round chair.
The Buro Roma 3 Lever Mid Back chairs are designed with a comfortable moulded high-quality foam seat and back. They were chosen because of their refined level of customisation through a range of adjustable features. These include the; height adjustable back, adjustable seat angle, adjustable back rest angle, and the customised seat slider add-on.
SAPOL has team members of all shapes, sizes, and heights, and therefore, it was imperative that the task chairs provided to them are of the perfect fit. The upgrade from old, low-quality task chairs to the Buro Roma Mid Back chairs has provided the team with good support, comfort, and increased wellbeing.
When SAPOL upgraded their static desks to height adjustable sit-to-stand desks, they chose to upgrade their task seating at the same time. Before the upgrade, team members were dealing with low-quality, low-functioning task seating, leading to discomfort and, possibly, Workcover issues. The upgrade has eliminated this challenge, and the team is now happier and better supported in a more comfortable work environment.
